The tungsten carbide grits is suitable for hard facing material. 1 mesh to 12 mesh: used for wear-resistance electrode and mace electrode; 10 mesh to 60 mesh: used for saw blade or play a role of wear-resisting welding in the metal surface.

How to Use Tungsten
Carbide Composite Rods

    Clean up the workpiece, make the welding workpieces surface with metallic luster.

    The flat position of welding, therefore can use the appropriate clamping fixture for control of surfacing layer thickness, thick piece of available.

    With a neutral flame preheating, flame core not contact surface, the distance to 25 mm is advisable.

    Carbide surfacing welding layer. How much brazing grit do I need?
Depending on feed rate and welder, you can weld 1 inch wide by 20 inches long with 1 pound of grit.
If the order is large enough, we are able to adjust the amount of tungsten carbide used for the brazing rod, and we can make a custom sized run. Contact Josh McKnight or Landon Hendricks, for more details.
