Cliff Nance is the owner and CEO of Tungco, a global tungsten carbide reclamation and raw material supply business. A second-generation leader, he grew up in Madisonville, Kentucky, and built his industry experience from the plant floor upward, ultimately serving as Vice President of Operations before becoming CEO.
Since assuming the CEO role in 2014, Nance has led Tungco’s continued growth as a relationship-driven, globally active recycler and supplier in the tungsten industry. His leadership emphasizes operational discipline, customer service, innovation, and a long-term commitment to sustainability in critical-material supply chains.
Nance also founded Project 74, an initiative to reshore the American industrial base. Beyond Tungco, Nance hosts Cliff’s Notes, a podcast featuring conversations on manufacturing, metals, leadership, technology, and building lasting relationships. He remains guided by his enduring priorities of family, adventure, and community.
Ryan Sizemore has been with Tungco for 20+ years. In that time, he has served in production, finance, procurement, sales, and currently as Chief Operating Officer. The overall scope of his responsibility is the strategy health of Tungco’s Global Sales. Ryan’s knowledge of the tungsten industry as well as his passion to create and sustain relationships with customers and suppliers has served he and Tungco well for many years. Born and raised in Northern Pennsylvania, Kevin West began his career shortly after graduating from Troy Area High School by joining GTE Sylvania (now Global Tungsten & Powders) in Towanda, PA. Over the course of 25 years, he rose through the ranks from a chemical operator to a middle management position, gaining extensive experience in operations and manufacturing leadership.
After taking an early retirement to spend more time with his family, Kevin pursued his passion for hospitality and opened Woody’s Ale House & Grille in Towanda, which he still owns today. Day-to-day operations are now managed by his son and a trusted team, allowing Kevin to focus fully on his current role.
As the Director of Operations at Tungco, Kevin brings decades of hands-on leadership, operational expertise, and a passion for process improvement. He embraces the dynamic challenges of the tungsten industry and is proud to be part of a team that drives innovation and excellence. Kevin has extensive training and knowledge in Hazmat and Lean Manufacturing.

Josh McKnight is the Senior Sales Lead for Cuda Grit and Lineage Metallurgical, two key divisions within the Tungco family of companies. With a career rooted in service, relationships, and industrial expertise, Josh plays a pivotal role in supporting customers and suppliers across multiple sectors. A Kentucky native and longtime friend of Tungco CEO Cliff Nance, Josh brings decades of hands-on experience and trusted leadership to every interaction.
