Materials & Inventory Analyst

We are looking for a detail-oriented and energetic Materials and Inventory Analyst to join our growing team at our Madisonville, Kentucky location.

General Job Description:

The Materials & Inventory Analyst reports directly to the President and has a key role in the operation, ensuring the accuracy of inventory.

Responsibilities:

• Using the company’s ERP system, performs analysis of critical Raw Materials (RM), Work in Process (WIP) and Finished Goods (FG)
• Accurately prices inbound materials based on purchase order agreements, customer demand and quality of materials
• Builds relationships and provides exceptional customer service with over 1,000 raw material suppliers globally
• Pulls data from ERP and transfers it to Microsoft Excel to create reports as charts and spreadsheets
• Prepares inventory variance reports for evaluation
• Investigates inventory variances/discrepancies and makes recommendations for inventory adjustments
• Participates in semi-annual physical inventory counts and assists with data entries
• Provides inventory status feedback to the production-planning group
• Assists the President with special projects related to production planning and inventory accuracy, min-max levels, material analysis and quality control
• Monitors inventory turns and maintains critical data “dashboards”

Requirements

High School Diploma

Must be computer literate and have prior experience with ERP system, Microsoft Excel or Apple Numbers navigation

Preferred

Experience in areas of supply management, logistics or material management (2-5 years)

Project management experience

College Degree
